General Information

Description

• Virtual PRS for Windows PDA is an application that runs on Windows Mobile 3.0 and 5.0 Pocket PC devices with Wi-Fi capability. Virtual PRS can be used in place of a PRS RF clicker.

Installation Information

Installing InterWrite Virtual PRS software on your PDA

Virtual PRS is a .NET Compact Framework 2.0 application. Your device must have the .NET Compact Framework 2.0 installed for this application to run. You can download
the "Microsoft® .NET Compact Framework 2.0 Service Pack 1 Redistributable" at:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=0c1b0a88-59e2-4eba-a70e-4cd851c5fcc4&DisplayLang=en

and install it on your device using ActiveSync.

There are 4 files in the VirtualPRS.zip:

1. This file
2. setup.exe
3. VirtualPRS.CAB
4. setup.ini

To install Virtual PRS application to your device:

1. Unzip VirtualPRS.zip to a folder on your desktop.
2. Start up ActiveSync.
3. Run setup.exe. 

To run the Virtual PRS application:

1. You can run Virtual PRS by clicking on the Virtual PRS icon in the "Programs" folder.
2. This version supports English and French-France.
