Optivote in Schools 

	In Primary schools the one button press of the simple IR8 handset is so intuitive that even the reception class kids can enjoy using the system. The handset may be simple to use but so too is the software. Once the responses are received the database which is the heart of the Optivote software allows the teacher to extract a wealth of useful information on each and every individual pupil. During the lesson the students remain fully engaged and motivated. After the lesson the drudge of marking is eliminated and Optivote will compile the data into usable reports at your request. You can use Optivote to share your lesson content via a web site. This is ideal where clusters of Primary schools wish to save the effort of creating content and prefer to share their resources.
	In Secondary Schools there are several scenarios in which Optivote can be used. In classrooms such as in the Arts subjects where numerical input is not essential the simple IR8 button handset or simple RF8 (radio frequency) makes it simple for student and teacher alike. The handset is so intuitive to use that it requires little or no instruction to get up and running. Numerical input, sequential input and multiple answer choices are facilitated by using our RF15 handset. Importantly this handset has a clear LCD panel so that the student can see their answer BEFORE committing to it. This handset is ideal for the Maths and Science Departments. For schools wishing to combine classroom systems into a larger year group or student council to make systems of over 96 users are recommended to purchase radio frequency systems. The infra red devices are ideal in classrooms but in the assembly hall their performance will be stretched. Radio frequency devices RF8 and RF15 can be used in neighbouring classrooms as each system works on its own channel.
