Creating Your Own Content

No matter how many questions are available inevitably you will want to create your own. The Optivote template system makes this simple including adding images and leveling the question against the UK National Curriculum Standards.

With a series of selectable templates you can quickly create a set of quiz questions, tests or classwork sessions.

It is a one click process to add your images and build an engaging lesson. Because the software is a site license this preparation can be done on any school computer or indeed at home.

Each question can have the relevant National Curriculum Standards associated with it to save you time – Optivote will automatically mark all your student answers and provide you with clear reports immediately at the end of the lesson.

Your lessons can be stored and shared with colleagues. In fact some LEAs are sharing the preparation between schools and creating a bank of reusable questions hosted at the LEA.

Use your existing MS PowerPoint slides as content.

You can drop your MS PowerPoint lesson material straight into Optivote creating an interactive presentation at a stroke.

New interactive lessons are created by adding question slides to your Powerpoint lessons - the bullet point slide layout in PowerPoint is ideal for this. Once done add the presentation to the Optivote database and you have a fully interactive lesson.

The excellent reporting functions of Optivote can be accessed at the end of the lesson just as if you had created the questions in Optivote itself.
